The Leave of Absence (LOA) Administrator is responsible for the day to day administration of employee leave of absence (LOA) and accommodation cases. Effectively coordinate claims/LOA cases in compliance with all applicable federal/state/provincial legislation as well as company policy. Performs exemplary customer service and assistance to employees and business partners to achieve the goals and objectives as set forth by the Company.
What you'll do:
Case administration of employee leave of absences and accommodation cases
Provide information, guidance and direction to employees regarding leave of absence policies and procedures
Process applicable disability claims forms efficiently and effectively with the related disability carrier and provide necessary updates
Provide employees with a customized package of various time off options to support the appropriate potential paid and unpaid time off
Responsible for all communications with employees, managers and HR Contacts during the duration of each case
Maintains required leave documentation, responsible for verifying eligibility, classifying the leave type and updating the systems accordingly
Work closely with team members in Payroll and Human Resources as needed
Support the HR Contact and UR Legal Team through the interactive accommodation process
Maintain required documentation regarding accommodation requests
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent/related work experience
A minimum of 3-5 years related experience
1 -2 years of full cycle LOA experience, multistate preferred; Canadian provincial employment law knowledge a plus
Highly organized, fast-paced environment with numerous deadlines and competing priorities
Thorough knowledge of Federal and State laws and rulings related to leaves (disability, parental and family leave) and the accommodation process, including the American’s with Disabilities Act
Communicate effectively and develop positive working relationships with internal and external vendors/clients
Excellent computer skills, especially with spreadsheets, databases and MS Office

Hybrid schedule out of Corporate/Charlotte, NC preferred but will consider fully remote
